SURVIVING 2016: WEEK FOUR

My oldest is growing up.  These photos are true evidence of that. As a mom of two, sometimes it's just easy for us to do things for our children whether it's for our own convenience or because we think they need our help with everything.  Up to this day, I have always made Ethan's bed, dressed him, brushed his teeth, comb his hair etc... But my baby boy is almost 4 years old, and he can definitely do these things on his own now.  Of course he is still my baby boy, nothing will ever change that, but I need to remind myself to step back once in a while and let him practice doing things for himself (under my supervision). In this post, you will see that my little boy is growing up. He is such a silly, smart, inquisitive, and funny little boy.  I love his sweet personality and how great of a kid he is.  We are also celebrating Maya's first taste of solid food.  It was a game of 'food goes in, her tongue pushes it out'.  We sure had fun watching her eat!

The first photo collage below makes me giggle so hard.  As I was taking their photo Maya passed gas and the look in both of their faces says it all.
