Since I began turning my attention on the entire family when photographing newborns, I must say that I am in love with the newborn lifestyle session. The O'Hara's welcomed their newest addition to their family, baby Alex. He was pretty active during our session and ate a lot which is pretty normal when you are four days old. I can tell that everyone in the family was thrilled and well prepared for the arrival of the newest member of their family including the family's fur baby and, of course, big sister Katie. I love how this session felt truly relaxed and effortless, capturing the true essence of their family. I think these photos portray the mood and spirit of the family at the time of the session. Sometimes I think the best photos are the most relaxed, chill, and no fuss sessions like the O'Hara's, allowing me to capture the raw moment happening in front of me.
