Love and true happiness radiated from Dave and Ashleigh on their wedding day. They were both so calm and laid back and laughed the entire time. Everything about their wedding held a meaning that reflected who they are as a couple. Those special little details included two specially crafted brews by the couple as they both share a love for craft beers and catered BBQ from Salt + Smoke (omg...newest fan of this place, so so good! ). I smiled a lot during their wedding day and I gushed inside whenever I see them sneak a special glance or smile at each other. My favorite part of the night is usually the first dances but after finding out that Dave and Ashleigh's music was written especially for them by a local artist...I think my heart literally melted in awe.

"For our wedding, Ashleigh and I knew we wanted a special song for our first dance. We tried to pick one of our favorite songs, but we knew the only way to get the PERFECT song was to go to Downwrite.

We reached out to one of our favorite artists, Shane Henderson, and gave him our story to write a song about.

Shane wrote an absolutely unbelievable song for us called The Skies We've Seen. Not only did we have the perfect song for our first dance, but we'll have the song for the rest of our lives!"
