Pamela + Gregg | Sunrise Engagement Session

When Pamela asked if we could shoot somewhere with sunflowers, I immediately thought of how crowded it was going to be in the afternoons.  It was prime time for the sunflowers and my insta feed was flooded with sunflower images in July.  I wanted to capture Gregg and Pamela having fun without an audience or having to wait for our turn so I pondered the idea of a sunrise session.  I"ll be honest, I am NOT a morning person so this was a difficult decision for me to make.  But then of course I know coffee fixes anything so I went ahead and presented the idea to Pamela and to my surprise she said yes to the idea immediately!  So there I was up at 4 AM so that I can wake up, get my coffee, and make the drive to Colombia Bottom Reservation in time for their sunrise shoot.  My friends, it was a brilliant idea.  They got their sunflowers all to themselves, and enjoyed a sunrise together.

Pamela and Gregg are such a sweet, kind, and adventurous couple.  For being up at the crack of dawn they were very chill and went along with all of my ideas and they had fun doing it too!  Pamela even took her wedges off and got her feet all muddy.  But no worries, she didn't hesitate to get in the river water to wash it all off.

Thank you Pamela and Gregg for this wonderful adventure.  Who knew I could be a morning person too (but not without two cups of coffee first)!  I'm looking forward to your fall wedding.
