It's always really nice and exciting when clients return to me for their family photos. But what's even more exciting is when they contact you for a newborn lifestyle session. Erika has been a good friend of mine since we met at our book club group a few years ago. So naturally, when I found out she is having a baby, I crossed my fingers that she would reach out to me for their newborn photos.
Like most of my newborn sessions lately, it was a very relaxed and chill one. I wanted to capture the things that their beautiful family would normally do when I'm not around. Like daddy and daughter hanging out while my beautiful friend Erika puts her new son to sleep. Or big sister Vivi's dance party over donuts on their ottoman chair. And the sweet moments of father and son bonding together.
I am falling more and more in love with these lifestyle sessions. They are honest and unpredictable. These are the real moments of their life and I'm honored to have captured them for my friend.
