This weekend my family came down for a visit from Iowa. Since they live several hours away we scheduled Maya's baptism the same weekend. We had a good visit and we love having them around. Here are a few photos from Maya's baptism.

This kid has never seen the movie Starwars but he insisted he needed to wear his Darth Vader watch to church.

I was not a huge fan of the baptism decor they have out there and since I had to work with a small budget I went with a few simple items. I love baby's breath in mason jar, add a photo and some candy and that's my center piece. Thank you Katharine Roberds Photography for Maya's milkbath photo.

Thanks to Christine Steinmann for creating this GORGEOUS and DELICIOUS cake at last minute. This was more than what I expected! I had a tough time having to cut it up to serve, it was too beautiful.
