My best friend is engaged! Hooray! So of course, I just have to be the one to photograph their engagement session. My husband and I spent a weekend up in Minneapolis for another one of our friends' wedding. I was so happy that we were able to squeeze in some time to visit with Nicole and Chris and even snap a few photos of them for their session.

Nicole and I met in college and immediately became close friends. She and I spent a lot of time at the local coffee shops studying and just hanging out. I'm pretty sure she was one of the reasons why I finished college! She was such a good influence on me academically and made me work hard instead of settling for the "good enough" grades. Soon after college, our career paths took us to two different states far apart as can be, but despite the distance we remained close friends and made the time to visit each other whenever possible.

I am so happy she found love and met Chris. I've only had the pleasure of meeting Chris a handful of times, but I can tell that he is a great guy and will take good care of my dear friend. I am also excited for another very special news, they are expecting a sweet baby boy coming in October! Life truly keeps getting better and better when you've found love! :-)
